Hotel Keilir is a brand new hotel located in the small Icelandic town of Keflavik. The town has a population of about 15,000 to 20,000 people and is surrounded by lava fields. The region around Keflavik also offers some pretty fascinated sights, such as the lighthouse at Gardur and the village of Hafnir.

The city of Reykjavik can be reached by bus with a journey taking about 35 minutes. Of course no one can miss Blue Lagoon, Iceland´s most visited and exotic destination. The Blue Lagoon is only a 15 minute drive from Hotel Keilir.

A warm welcome to Iceland
Try to think about your first hours in Iceland. You´ll be taking a 3 hour flight from Europe or a 5 hour flight from America and reach a beautiful, isolated and rocky island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. You are in lava fields and walk out of the airport, only to meet someone from Hotel Keilir who will drive you and take you to the hotel. After traveling for a long time, the hotel is only a 5 minute drive away so transportation will be short upon your arrival in Iceland.

After getting settled in your hotel room, you can take a trip and relax at the Blue Lagoon which is also not so far away from the hotel. You might also want to take some excursions around Keflavik, to Reykjavik, or even around the country. After your stay in Iceland, Hotel Keilir will drive you back to the airport for your flight home. Welcome to Iceland!

The hotel has 40 rooms with a total capacity of 90 persons. There is also a conference room for approximately 40 people. Breakfast and internet are included to all guests.
