Begin your journey with the Camping Card
The Camping card gives owner, spouse and children up to the age of 16, free camping at 33 camp sites that are listed in the brochure that accompanies the Camping Card. You can see camp list here

The Camping Card is valid for tents, motorhomes, caravans or fold away tents.
The idea is simple. Buy one card and gain access to 33 camping sites all around Iceland in the summer of 2008. When we decided on who should be a part of the project, we looked at things from a strategic viewpoint. The cardholder should be able to drive around our beautiful island without having to grow tired on endless drives, so the next place where you can pitch your tent is always a short distance away.

Icelandic nature is a unique thing. The ever changing colours, and the endless summer nights are privileges that we who live here and those of you who come for a visit, should take full advantage of. Provided this idea of ours will be received in the manner we hope, the Camping Card will continue to develop, with even more camping sites included as well as all sorts of special offers.

This way, one can enjoy the magnificent Icelandic nature, chase the sun where ever it may be shining, and visit places you probably would not have thought of visiting in the first place.
